Salam Sejahtera, and a very good day

A very warm welcome to International Conference on Computing, Mathematics and Statistics or iCMS 2021. Thank you for taking your time to be here, participating in this Conference. This year’s event is a joint collaboration between Universiti Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Kedah with strategic partners; The Ecological University of Bucharest and Romania R Team.

Allow me to express my gratitude to the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, or FSKM, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Kedah for organizing and hosting this eagerly anticipating International Conference. FSKM Kedah has taken high initiative as an effort to foster the University Internalization vision and mission agenda. Congratulation.

iCMS 2021 aims to serve as a platform to gather academician and researchers from around the world to share their experience, expertise, research findings as well as research project in the field of computing, mathematics, and statistics and its related area.

With the torrent amount of information, computing, mathematics, and statistics have become an essential for organizations in formulating actionable insights. Workers must be skilled in mathematics, statistics, and advanced computing to be able to effectively sift through muddled masses of information and communicate only the most vital bits that will help drive innovation and efficiency.

Therefore, researchers and academicians must proactively respond to the rising demand of these fields with research findings and best practices that prepare students and workers for relevant roles of today and tomorrow.

There is plenty of room for more interdisciplinary research and development with various domains with computing, mathematics, and statistics to enhance the efficiency of current technologies.

Hence, the theme chosen for iCMS2021 – “Driving Research Toward Excellence” – is therefore apt for researchers to come together presenting their practical solutions for a better tomorrow as well as become a catalyst for stimulating ideas to further enhance future research and innovations.

It is hoped that the Conference can be used as a starting point for further international relations and collaborations such as in research projects, publications and other academic and professional programs in the future. I urge all participants from near and far to consider how best can our contributions benefit not only universities and industries, but more importantly our communities.

May you have a successful and fruitful conference. I wish each of you safe and well.

Thank you very much.
